UNDESA is seeking an international consultant who will be responsible for conducting analysis and examining the link of various institutional arrangements for the SDGs with the prevailing systems in place in 66 countries both at political, legal and institutional levels, that presented voluntary national reviews at the United Nations High-Level Political Fora in 2016 and 2017. Furthermore, s/he will analyze the major issues related to the evolving institutional arrangements for the SDGs from the perspective of the public administration science. S/he may be called upon to analyze some of the 44 countries to test assumptions and supplement the work of the junior consultant. Please see attached Terms of Reference for details. The consultant may work on UN premises or remotely, as required and travel is not estimated for this consultancy.
