UNDESA recruiting an international consultant on the Promotion of Sustainable Agriculture

The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) is implementing a project on the Promotion of Sustainable Agriculture. At the initial stages of the implementation, UNDESA will be organising a series of kick-off events in pilot countries. UNDESA is therefore recruiting an international consultant, who will work between September and December 2017 to support these activities. This is a home-based contract, which may require travel to target countries. Please see attached Terms of Reference for details. UNDESA recruiting two international consultants on micro, small and medium enterprises

The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) is implementing a project on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and their role in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development. The project will be implemented in nine pilot countries. At the initial stages of the implementation, a desk review of legal and institutional frameworks for MSMEs in the pilot countries and beyond is required. UNDESA is therefore recruiting two international consultants, who will work between September and December 2017; one consultant will carry out a desk review on legal frameworks, and the other will conduct a desk review on institutional frameworks. These are home-based contracts. Please see attached Terms of Reference (Legal Frameworks; Institutional Frameworks) for details. Applicants should complete and sign the attached Personal History form, and return it to Ms. Annie Wei Lu (lu3@un.org) no later than 24 August 2017, clearly indicating for which of the assignments they would like to be considered.
