This event will take place in Conference Room 8, UN Headquarters. 

The Expert Group Meeting on Integrated Approaches to International Migrations aims to inform the preparation of the World Public Sector Report 2017. It aims to take stock of policies and institutional arrangements put in place nationally and locally to respond to the international migrations and refugee movements. It will examine progress made and challenges faced in terms horizontal and vertical policy integration and in terms of engagement of non-governmental actors in the design and implementation of policies. The overall objective will be to show how public administration can link international migrations with effective and inclusive implementation of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development. The EGM will seek to gather inputs of experts and representatives of the United Nations and other organizations and individual experts on this topic.
