This objective of this Global E-Participation Workshop is to build institutional and leadership capacities in strengthening e-participation policies and implementation strategies for a more inclusive, participatory implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.  Specifically, it aims to enhance the knowledge and capacities of national practitioners and professionals, as well as institutions, in the current concepts, policies, strategies and practices in engaging people in the policymaking and decision-making process, including in formulating and implementing national development plans and sustainable development strategies.
