The IGF 2022 First Open Consultations and Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) Meeting (23-25 February, virtual), organized by the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Secretariat, will set the course for the planning of the Forum this year, including its digital policy priorities, derived in part through a public call. The first day of open consultations will feature statements on IGF-related work from the Office of the UN Tech Envoy, ITU, UNESCO, the Council of Europe, OECD, and others. During its deliberations, the MAG will also decide on the establishment of traditional “intersessional activities”, whose focus most recently have been the intersection of digital and the environment, gender and digital rights, universal access, and cybersecurity norms. Registration is open; stakeholders are invited to intervene on the first day and to observe the remaining days.
