The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Expert Group Meeting (EGM) (30 March-1 April) will gather more than 30 international and multistakeholder experts on Internet governance to discuss how the IGF can contribute to advancing digital cooperation. As called for by the Secretary-General in Our Common Agenda, this takes place in the context of the ongoing process to “adapt, innovate and reform” the Forum, a growing global and multistakeholder platform on digital policy. Experts will issue related recommendations at the end of the three-day working retreat, taking into account inputs from guest speakers, as well as from UN System representatives, who will be present to explore opportunities for deeper inter-agency cooperation. The meeting will be held at the Permanent Mission of Finland in New York. More information is available on the IGF website.
