UNDESA’s Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG), the Astana Civil Service Hub (ACSH) and the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Eastern and Central Europe (NISPAcee) are organizing a workshop on how to build resilience and capacity of national public administrations to withstand crises and stay on track with the implementation of their SDGs objectives and goals by promoting a culture of innovation and effective utilisation of modern information and communication technologies, a theme that is congruent with the theme of the umbrella Conference: “Crises, Vulnerability and Resilience in Public Administration.

The workshop on “Innovations and E-government to Build a Resilient Public Administration” – coinciding with the 30th Anniversary Conference of NISPAcee – aims at widening the reach and strengthening collaboration and partnerships between public administration training schools and government institutions in the region and beyond, as well as with the academic community concerned with the pursuit of research on policy issues and approaches that are conducive to strengthening the resilience of public administration to various crises.

The workshop will take place in the University of Bucharest premises in Bucharest, Romania, on 2-4 June 2022.
