26 May 2022 (Thursday) 0800 – 1000 hrs (New York time)

Objective of Expert Group Meeting
The aim of the Expert Group Meeting is to provide a platform for digital government and OGD experts to share their diverse perspectives on development trends of OGD as well as the proposed OGDI pilot, in particular (i.) the proposed three-pillar framework of OGDI [Pillar, Platform and Impact]; (ii) other ways to capture emerging issues and trends of OGD and how to assess them in the OGDI methodology. The exchange of views and reflections among experts will be instrumental to inform and guide the future methodological approach of OGDI as part of the UN E-Government Survey, and in ensuring the continued relevance of OGDI to implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
