The APKN site has undergone major restyling and reorganisation. The main APKN and the different thematic sub-sites have a uniform look and feel (apart from ANM) to better reflect their being part of APKN. The main banners have been changed and a common colour scheme carries through all the thematic sites.

We think that the site is now providing not just a more recognizable AKPN identity across the different sections and sites but also a much better idea of what APKN can become once all parliaments become active members and contribute to the different thematic areas in any way they can according to their specific expertise.

Readers can leave comments and suggestions on any page, for more information please read here. Please send us your thoughts, APKN can grow and keep its promises only if it receives the support and inputs of participating parliaments.

There has been also a reorganisation of the content with the addition of a thematic site, Learning Resources Portal (LRP). LRP is meant to provide a selection of high quality learning resources. It is a work in progress.

The navigation has also been improved and now it is possible to move from one thematic site to the other with just one click. We are also planning to move some of the content into a database, e.g. the short descriptions of online courses, that the user will be able to quickly list and search for them in the ways that best suits their needs.

We hope the new site is more usable and that it gives a better idea on what collaborative work and collaboration can deliver to all African Parliaments.

Many parts are still "under construction" and we hope to receive your comments and suggestions very soon on how to build them and how to make the APKN Portal the online resource for all African Parliaments.
