The initiative helps to ensure accessibility of mathematics curriculum and support material to learners with visual,hearing and physical impairment. without the initiative ,these learners would experience difficulty in developing mathematics competencies for grade 3
the initiative ensures that teachers are well guided on how to guide the learners with disabilities to learn the various concept.learners also provided with pupils books with activities that they can do as per their unique needs.

the initiative ensures that children with visual,hearing and physical impairment are receiving quality and relevant education along side their peers without disabilities hence assuring them of social justice,non discrimination and equal participation in education.

learners with visual ,hearing and physical impairment are able to learn mathematics activities for grade 3 alongside their regular peers.

for the first time mathematics activities teachers guides have been adapted to suit learners with visual,hearing and physical impairments
pupils books have also been adapted for the three categories of learners for grade 3

the initiative is an adaption in the sense that the institute has only been adapting the curriculum but not the teachers guides nor pupils books.

the initiative is sustainable because the institute has plans to work with private publishers,other government agencies including Braille publishers and development partners ensures that these categories of learners receive materials that suit their needs
