Question 1

Please describe the objective of the initiative introduced (200 words maximum)
The Projeto Caiu na Rede aims to create a network of actions that help in the healthy development of adolescents, so that they act in the integrated planning of the territory. The connection with territorial agents through initiatives and projects that help identify potentialities and elaborate joint strategies will be the result of a process involving social participation, innovation, technology, human and territorial development to strengthen the region.

Please explain how the initiative is linked to the category and criteria selected (100 words maximum)
Considering category 2 - Ensure integrated approaches in public sector institutions. The project provides for capacity building actions to the institutions involved such as rapid health diagnosis through the implementation of a as a tool to facilitate the process of data analysis and discussion as well as the achievement of strategic planning by researchers and institutions involved. The teams will be constituted by five sectors of the health care network adolescents, such as health, education, public safety, social sports, these institutions will participate in the preparation of proposals for shared to the region of the triple border.

The proposal meets the SDGs 3 - Health and well-being. The project seeks the following results, organize a network of people and institutions that can achieve: Actions that benefit the development of youth and community; Strengthening of a network, expanding existing actions; Integrated planning; Dissemination of knowledge; Optimization of resources.

Please explain how the initiative has addressed a significant shortfall in governance, public administration or public service within the context of a given country or region. (200 words maximum)
The search for a rapid diagnosis in the health and well-being of adolescents involving issues of urban development carried out jointly by actors from public and private institutions and civil organizations with the development of a virtual environment of juvenile prognostic in the process of planning, evaluation and execution of projects and innovative actions, contributing to their citizen participation. The project takes place in a region of triple border between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.

The initiative is innovative in our region. Besides being a multi-centered research, it involves adolescents in the process of defining health, social and urban indicators, data and information collection, training, data analysis and integrated strategic planning with actors public, universities, and civil organizations in the areas of health, education, social service, public safety, sports and culture, urban planning and economics.
b. Please describe if the innovation is original or if it is an adaptation from other contexts (100 words maximum)
This innovation is original in the academic, service and public management, international relations and citizen participation spheres.

Sim. A inciativa já foi realizada como projeto piloto na cidade de Caaguazu - Paraguay; Puerto Iguaçu - Argentina e Foz do Iguaçu - Brasil. A mesma está em processo de ampliação para demais centros socioeconômicos, to facilitate the management and financing of innovative projects and actions with state ministries and ministries.

The financial resources were covered by the Itaipu Technological Park - PTI. Human resources were available from the participating institutions of the project as well as the adolescents.
b. Please describe whether and how the initiative is sustainable (covering the social, economic and environmental aspects) (200 words maximum)
The initiative is made sustainable first by the support and role of the Itaipu Technological Park, but also by providing strategies and methodologies that aim at the autonomy of the institutions in data management in the electronic platform and the accomplishment of the actions in partnership with other local institutions and regional, strengthening the proposal of strategic planning and the creation of networks of independent protection in each reality.

Yes
The initiative was evaluated by several meetings held by members of the government of the three countries involved. Subsequently by an internal team of the Itaipu Technological Park to approve and carry out the project. The project also has a continuous evaluation process with the issuance of quarterly reports to the institutions.

Prevalence of depression among adolescents; Prevalence of low weight among adolescents; Prevalence of overweight and obesity among adolescents; Early initiation of sexual activity; Current use of tobacco among adolescents; Current alcohol use among adolescents; Current use of cannabis among adolescents; Prevalence of insufficient physical activity among adolescents; Parental connection with adolescents; Parental regulation of adolescents; Participation of adolescents in school and community. Social, economic and urban indicators.
c. Please describe the outcome of the evaluation (100 words maximum)
The evaluation is automatically generated by the electronic platform to facilitate the evaluation and planning of each institution intersectorally by geographic region. In addition to analyzing the impact of indicators, the engagement of the actors in the institutions with the adolescents and the monitoring of the implementation of the projects and actions are carried out by a team from the Itaipu Technological Park.

Question 9

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development puts emphasis on collaboration, engagement, coordination, partnerships, and inclusion. Please describe what and how stakeholders were engaged in designing, implementing and evaluating the initiative. Please also highlight their roles and contributions (200 words maximum)
The whole project foresees through youth protagonism the participation of adolescents in the whole process of actions. Providing information, identification models through professionals in each specific area, facilitating future professional choice, active involvement in issues related to their health and well-being and to urban development, such as documents, texts, meetings and, in particular, new actions and projects between the institutions involved.
