After assuming the Management of the City Hall of Guarulhos, I found a lack of financial resources in public agencies, while several leaders of the poor and vulnerable neighborhoods struggled for the basic Food and Children's Rights together with their families. Children's Day, the Food Bank and the Solidarity Christmas Party. The initiative has been gaining strength and effectiveness over the years, since 2013 and in 2017 achieved great success in quantitative and qualitative results. Partnerships have been strengthened, established and expanded through alignment with SDOS - between Community Leadership & City Hall & Entrepreneurship. Guaranteeing a better world for many children with their many families from the municipality of Guarulhos and neighboring municipalities.

To use ODS as a fundamental mechanism for conscientious planning, implementation of the whole environmental chain, transparent monitoring, creation of indicators coherent with the sustainability of the planet, aiming for a better world by 2030, through the incentives of public policies to consolidate human partnerships in of the Municipality of Guarulhos, inspiring the whole World. Achieve the main goal of improving the quality of life of children and their families in vulnerability - reducing poverty.
b. How does the initiative fit within the selected category?
Please describe how the initiative is linked to the criteria of the category (200 words maximum)
To put an end to the poverty of the children of the peripheries of Guarulhos can play, because they do not have safe space, because they do not have toys, because they do not have the financial resources to pay for a trip to the amusement park. or often do not have at least one meal to stay nourished fit to have fun, enjoy with your family and your neighbors. This is why it is aligned with the Poverty Irradiation category, when these children play happily in the park, at the children's buffet, in a safe place, they are presented with toys, food, and many of them continue to receive healthy food from the Municipal Food Bank. Thanks to partnerships created to heal the misery that keeps poor children from even the fundamental right to play with disposition.

The initiative of the Sustainable Partnerships already existed, therefore it acquired consistency: - beginning, middle and end, that is to say, a more commitment of goals to come from the presentation of the ODSs to arrive at the 2030. He gave the vision to the Municipality that is not alone in this work, creating new long-term perspective, empowering City Hall officials, neighborhood association leaderships, local businessmen, the Mayor, the families served that together we are stronger. All striving to hold the best event. Collecting donations from those who had to donate, but rather threw away. From this public policies of these partnerships is implementing the participation of Public Managers, Civil Society, companies, NGOs, Government - inside and outside the Municipal Councils (House of Councils) for decision making. It emphasizes the involvement of several public sector agencies that previously worked each one in their "box", in this objective worked in a complementary way, so it was successful to provide services to the needy and vulnerable population, in this context

It should impact on the proportion that the locality increases its population, there are more vulgar families, public policies establish a greater scope and more frequently to incorporate the right of children to play with their brothers, grandparents, parents, colleagues free from hostile environments, free of drug trafficking, trafficking in persons, trafficking in organs, sexual exploitation, and lack of food. The current administration of the Municipality, has committed through Decrees, ensure these parties, these meetings, these donations of toys, clothing, food and entertainment should increase each year. changing the relationship of this municipality that is the Gateway to Brazil of Latin America, since it is the largest and most important international airport in Latin America, with it comes the great urban problems. The young mayor who is the front of the city, is the great incentive of this new way of acting of the public administration.

Because of the many partnerships that the public administration sought, creating a network voluntarily, to perform the tasks for the poor children, respectively serving the poor families, where the Food Bank received more food, thousands of pieces of clothing were collected, more of 500 children participated in mega children's day parties at Children's Buffet and won a few goodies. In Christmas solidarity, more than 4,000 children and their families experienced a day of many surprises and charms. All in 2017, a very difficult year for public administration, which had no money at all, worked in the red, sought solutions to guarantee the fundamental rights of poor families and managed without spending anything. This spending Zero impacted a lot on the quality of Social Service provided.

This initiative became innovative from the moment that all the financial resources that a small part of the poor population served:
1- it was necessary the public managers to call all economic sectors of the city for sincere dialogues, to explain the problematic and at the same time to seek collective solutions, directing to the partnerships as solutions
2 - the public administration brought as foundations the ODSs within the totality of the Municipality, taking away from the exclusivity only of the subdivision of the Department of the Environment, as it was before.
3- City Hall employees, spontaneously went out in search of new partners, door-to-door, collecting every network of Stekrolders from each participating company, from each NGO.
4 - The Humanism of public agents, Public managers, the Mayor, some Councilors, triggered during the execution, without vanities of merits of positions or parties, to supply the need of the municipality, was the great innovation, brought mainly through reflection of the ODSs - "Partnerships"

It was inspired by the various Peace Proposal sent to the UN by the Japanese philosopher, laureate poet Daisaku Ikeda, SGI president, who writes every year institulando some questions for the world today, and in the year 2017 he unites the ODs as a form of Humanity unite for the betterment of the world, locally and globally. It discusses the partnership is possible through dialogue from heart to heart. He cites the need to create Food Banks, talks about solidarity rather than War. He affirms that Peace and war begins in the heart of every person. That solidarity strengthens Peace. It says that we must empower those who suffer, and call to extinguish misery from the face of the earth. I have been in the Educational Coordination of an NGO for 29 years. In the last 3 years I have been the Volunteer Coordinator of the Socioambiental Program, where we have replicated the 17 Sustainable Objectives as several pertinent actions. From there, as manager of the City Hall of Guarulhos, I expanded the work in the public administration with the consent and participation until the Mayor.

The selection was natural for civil servants and managers; were re-adapted by the solidarity profiles, no employee was hired for specific partnership functions; there was spontaneous mobilization, The City has 23,400 employees, of these 25 mobilized directly in the partnerships. In previous years we were just two people. And the cost was high to keep this programs on a smaller scale and lower quality

Yes
This positive experience that we are having here in Brazil, in one of the largest municipalities, with many needs and little investment, can happen in any other country, in any community that there are vulnerable, poor people. Dialogue, partnerships, committed employees who want to serve also exist anywhere on the planet, entrepreneurs who want to donate; leaders who want to speak also exist everywhere. It is enough to have Agenda 2030 Indicators or OSs as a fundamental goal. Take aim as a human being to help others, the planet. Fulfilling the mission of the civil servant who is to play the role of implementing public policies to improve the life of the locality that provides the service. It's simple so it's up to any location in any country

This initiative has been expanding and qualifying with the passing of this five years, with the introduction to the Context of the 2030 and 17 Sustainable Objectives agenda, it evolves a lot in 2017. The prospect is to enhance the voluntary involvement of at least 1/5 of the Public Functionalism of Guarulhos directly in this initiative of seeking partnerships to serve the needy population. And indirectly get the support and respect of all employees, who can perform other actions for the sake of sustainability in the family environment, in the neighborhood, in the work environment

1- Actors involved in the permanent collection of food and clothing:
Coordination of Social Assistance of the City Hall of Guarulhos
active participation of the Armed Forces of Brazil; municipes, mobilization of all sectors of the city, businessmen, councilors, capturing NGOs.
My role was to spread, seek new donors and strengthen the old donors, aligned with the ODSs / Agenda2031 precepts throughout the process.
2- Actors involved in the Children's Day Party: Businessmen from the Fest food branch, Buffet infanitis, transport entrepreneurs, newspaper and magazine and the City were the sponsors of the 6 great parties and gifts, NGOs and needy families, shelters were the selection of the needy Children were determined by the City Hall (Social Assistance data),
I am the idealizer and coordinator, responsible for gathering the business, organizing the buses to get the children and their children, control the due authorizations of the participants; aligned with the provisions of ODSs / Agenda 2030 in every process.

1- Embrace the universal mission of achieving socio-environmental goals to improve the lives of all, each small or great achievement agent empowers himself as a person of value
2- Always be willing to foster new partnerships through sincere dialogue;
3 - Give the return presenting the social impacts to those involved, strengthens and helps to sustain the partnership for the long term.

In order to improve, the great political leaders can play a great role, publicizing the Agenda 2030, not for political purposes, but as a promoter of public policies, like the current young mayor of Guarulhos, who had the beginning of ODSs during all other actions. as in this initiative, this was a differential signifier.
