The Dignified School program is a regime collaborative action that was created by a political decision from the Government of the State of Maranhão, Brazil which establishes the “More IDH" action that was implemented in January 2, 2015, consisting of a strategic action to combat extreme poverty and promote justice and citizenship for thousands of Maranhão Brazil people excluded from the social, cultural and political process. The purpose is to ensure that all (children, young people, adults and the elderly) have access to adequate infrastructure, to the development of educational practices conducive to develop a complete citizens. Also to carry out continuous training of managers, pedagogical coordinators and teachers who work in kindergarten and regular primary education and in the EJA degree. These professionals will be handed out pedagogical material with the themes: School Management, Learning Assessment and Curricular Organization and Teaching Practices to handle the qualification of these professionals in order to impact on the improvement of educational indicators, therefore in the reduction of poverty and inequalities.

-To provide children, young people, adults and the elderly people with access to the best infrastructure for their training as free, conscientious and prepared citizens to work professionally in the most diverse fields of the State. social activity.
-To strengthen the state and municipal education networks, through technical and pedagogical advice in the field of education with a view to qualify the pedagogical practices developed in schools, based on good pedagogical interventions.
-To implement the Municipal Secretary Education for the updating or elaboration of the documents guiding the education policy and school organization in order to improve the work environment, pedagogical practice and interpersonal relations.
-To promote the valuation by means of certification of the professionals who will participate in the process of implementation of the technical-pedagogical advice.

To promote the access to quality schooling. In addition, to correction of school flow with a qualification of pedagogical practices, which will promote the strengthening of teaching of in the best Basic Education.

The "Dignified School" Program is, on the one hand, a response to the works of many students from Maranhão, Brazil who are waiting for opportunities to find a place in the school for effective learning of scientific knowledge, promotion of reading and writing practices, research, culture and art, social participation and mobilization. On the other, it is an instrument to eliminate the barriers that divide students between those who learn and those who fail in school. The substitution and advisory actions are guided by the principles of social inclusion, respect for diversity, meaningful learning, teaching committed to socio-cultural practices, integral training of students, democracy and management in a democratic perspective

The city that receives the Dignified School Program becomes a reference in that region, since the building that houses the school becomes a place of hope for community not only in the sense of promoting a quality education, but as an opportunity of improve the quality of life, since in addition to the program to provide an appropriate facility to students of that region extends the possibilities of human development. The Secretary of Education was the mentor in the elaboration the program and in what concerns the implementation the program was a partnership between the education department and the municipal cities. Evaluation of the program is the responsibility from the municipal cities give the return of these actions in the localities.

The lessons to learned to the Secretary Education is an importance to the political of the qualification from the professionals in the work . In the municipal cities , mainly, it necessity the collaborative regime between the Education Secretary. And from the people in the cities the program was an important step in their life. In this way, it was a form from the hope in this communicates.
