Question 1

Please describe the objective of the initiative introduced (200 words maximum)
I myself as refugee when I came to Sweden earlier in 2016 I have established Human without Border Movement and the launched the project called Support Refugee Rights and Empowerment as refugee led organization for the purpose of empowering refugee men and women/girls youth and children to empower their rights and to raise their voices also to integrate them safely in the society, and bringing solidarity among refugees and host society. The other fact I found women refugee newly arrived in an open society targeted easily by sexual harassment and domestic violence which number of cases are happened yet. Human without Border Movement is an intellectual revolution is implementing this project in order to make humans reunite and support freedom over the world. Human without Border is a global humanitarian defender movement, its mission and vision is; that humans are free and free of choice where to go and live. Human without Border Movement is created based on Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Human Rights Conventions (HRCs). The goal of HwBM is that humans have access to their rights in order to live in a solidarity and freedom environment.

The project improves the living condition and human free movement. Since refugees neglected in the host country the project response the humanitarian and legal needs of refugees who already treated in a discriminatory actions, as many refugees getting negative decision to their asylum application. The project facilitate and raise awareness of the refugees and public on refugee rights through campaigning, seminars, debates, workshops and round tables. Women refugees face many challenges such as violence and harassment the project legally advocate for their rights and enhance their knowledge on their rights. The project is equal rights based approach and equality.

Specifically the initiative is relevant to SDGs goal nr 16. Through active role and dialogues/ talks the project team organized/ organize with parliamentarian, stakeholders, government entities, judicial system, media, CSOs community and directly with refugees. Integration and cultural events for refugees and with communities are organized. Directed refugees to employers in order to seek jobs which develop the economy and make zero poverty among refugees this connected to SDGs goal 1 & 2. Protection of women refugees and support gender mainstreaming among refugees and public, it connected to SDGs goal nr 5.

The initiative must have positive impact on a group or groups of the population, especially the vulnerable (i.e. children, women, older persons, people with disabilities, etc.) within the context of your country or region. Please explain how the initiative has addressed a significant shortfall in governance, public administration or public service within the context of a given country or region. (200 words maximum)
The organization and project initiative is refugee think-tank and intellectual revolution movement. The purpose that refugee human rights activist took the lead of this movement is to advocate for their rights themselves. The initiative has special efforts as mentioned earlier to protect refugee women and girls from sexual abuse and harassment, protect refugee children from human trafficking and abuse, protect children from drug abuse and drug dealers. The initiative has done an assessment at initial stage and evaluated the situation itself. The country situation and how to approach the needs have been done through networking of refugees and local communities in order to reach the goal which is accelerating the integration and granting of residence for asylum seekers and refugees in the ground. Disabilities and old people among refugees are in high needs of support the initiative established a call line which is free of charge to provide immediate help to them and connect them to other helper for further support. Women in risk received the information on reporting any missus/ harassment via direct call and can report anonymously.

a. Please explain in which way the initiative is innovative in the context of your country or region (100 words maximum)
The initiative was developed by idea which raised by refugees for the purpose of refugees for all, at first stage through this initiative we have established an organization and structure which is not only refugee-led organization we integrated locals in the board and membership in order to introduce and integrate us in the society. We raised our problem and needs by our voice we connected the resource to be used for refugees since most of organizations have funds for refugees but they do not spend in proper and transparent manner. Women has strong presence in this initiative make big changes.
b. Please describe if the innovation is original or if it is an adaptation from other contexts (100 words maximum)
This is unique since a group of refugees empowered themselves which established an organization, directly started actions without receiving any kind of financial support. We played active role than other CSOs who are in the field since many years. We have done a study on refugee situation 2015-2018 and presented to the 4th Migration Forum in Brussels which was organized by European Economic and Social Committee and EC. This was a strong voice that the message of refugees raised to contribute development of economy of the host country and they are the human capital and resource which our initiative contributed.

The initiative has been launched at first state from a refugee housing then in a small town called Kungsör which is located to the western part of Sweden. It moved fast and reached number of cities now is centered in the capital Stockholm. The initiative has created networks in different countries. We connected through meetings via skype and share plans and results through different platforms.

At first stage we have received strong moral support form at local and global level which moved us faster forward, most of members are volunteers and provide greater support to the operation of the initiative in the ground. The initiative has connector role which connects the refugees with available resources for example integration unit which has budget, municipalities and other actors to accelerate empowerment of refugees in the society. The initiative seeks independent financial resources in order to expand to other cities.
b. Please describe whether and how the initiative is sustainable (covering the social, economic and environmental aspects) (200 words maximum)
The initiative developed long term strategy, now we are in the first stage and the need is long term perspective since many people migrate from one to another part of the globe. The strategy has a greater direction which move us forward from long term perspective the initiative put in the strategic plan to establish WORLD ACADEMY in order to educate and train subject of human rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, conventions and right based training. The strategy is aiming to make stronger the global networks of Human without Border Movement and to contribute actively on SDGs.

Yes
The initiative was evaluated internally the evaluation was covering all aspects and provide productive outcomes and recommendation. It was done at middle of the implementation and it is plan to do at the end of implementation process as well. Evaluation team was professional and has done all requirement during the evaluation process. The evaluation has organized various interviews with beneficiaries and stakeholders through different sessions and meetings. The evaluation team developed questionnaire and used participatory approach during evaluation process.

The outcome of evaluation has been presented through workshop and summing up the entire team of the initiative has been informed the outcome of the evaluation and following the recommendations in the field. The outcome of the evaluation showed that initiative is one of unique idea that raised by refugee in order to defend refugees rights and eliminate violence against refugees. They become self-sufficient in terms of a structure to raise their voice. Most of the outcomes are positive provide great tools to move a head.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development puts emphasis on collaboration, engagement, coordination, partnerships, and inclusion. Please describe what and how stakeholders were engaged in designing, implementing and evaluating the initiative. Please also highlight their roles and contributions (200 words maximum)
The initiative was aiming to improve the situation for refugees, empower them, mitigating violence against women, protect women and girls from abuse and harassment, protect child abuse and support people in need and support disabilities. The initiative sought cooperation and coordination with Migration Agency of Sweden, CSOs, Judicial System, community based organizations, local leaders, municipalities, police organs and cooperated at globally with presentation of the findings through participation of our team at conferences, forums and seminars in different countries.

Through this initiative we proved that refugees are talented people and they have possibility to bring changes. The initiative raised the voice of refugees themselves and contributed the situation to be better for refugees. Advocate refugee rights in various level, took position to stand our rights. Introduce a movement which is called Human without Border Movement. High participation of locals and as well refugees to the movement/ initiative. Reported miss behavior against refugees and the gaps which have been improved the lack and needs. Demonstrated the refugee stands to advocate for the rights through the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
