SDG 3 and 4 - The program aims to reduce inequalities in all aspects; expand actions for the development of sustainable cities and communities through investment in public policies focused on the transversality of sustainable development: social, economic, environmental and institutional, using Culture as a tool of citizenship for a more inclusive, human and resilient city. Provide activities to develop in students the interest in the Arts of Scene, Music, Visual Arts, Health and Quality of Life, Foreign Languages, Manifestations of Popular Culture and traditionalities;

The School of Arts Program is developed through the Department of Tourism and Culture of the Municipality of Jaguariúna, since 2010 with an annual municipal investment of two million reais.
Within the justifications for the existence of the Program we have: the need to expand the service to the population and stimulate the formation of ARTISTS; appreciation of cultural and traditional manifestations; improvement in technical and artistic quality in teaching art to the community; the principle of Opportunity provided for in Federal Law 8.666 / 93, article 25, of the negotiations on regular contracts by the public administration; to promote the health and well-being of the individual in society; quality socio-cultural education.
The students of the Program are children, adolescents, adults, seniors and people with disabilities, from the age of 4. Currently 70% of the students are women / girls, 268, are elderly, 79 people with some type of disability (autism, Down syndrome, developmental disorder, visually impaired, Williams Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Deficient and Reduced Mobility). The Program is based on Art and Culture Courses, through free courses, and is subdivided into projects for specific service to each target audience: Attendance to Disabled Persons, thus fostering cultural accessibility, Attendance to the Elderly and Encouraging the exchange of knowledge, being this an intergenerational pillar, Generation of Income fomenting the Creative Economy and, finally, the Tourist Flow with the exchange of good practices.
The Program currently serves more than 3,600 people, resulting in more than 5,800 weekly visits, within its educational and socio-cultural principles. Its workshops are subdivided into the following areas: Performing Arts (Theater, Circus, Musical Theater, Ballet, Jazz , Visual Arts (Screen Painting, Sculpture and Scenographies, Drawing Digital Arts, Cinema, Photography and Craft), Music (Keyboard, Piano, Guitar) , Guitar, Electric bass, Drums, Percussion, Strings, Winds, Woods, Music, Viola Caipira, Vocal technique, Young choir and Adult and Concertina), Health and Quality of Life (Pilates, Yoga, Capoeira and Gastronomy), Languages (English, Italian, Spanish and Locution).

The Program has an annual municipal investment of 2 million reais and is a government program of public policies for Culture. 42 teachers hired and use of the city's public parks.
The School of Arts Program is developed through the Department of Tourism and Culture of the Municipality of Jaguariúna, since 2010 with an annual municipal investment of two million reais - BRL Currency. (approximately 500 thousand dollars per year). The Program currently serves more than 3,600 people a week, resulting in 5,800 weekly visits, with a direct impact on the care of the disabled.

The initiative, School of Arts Program, is a sustainable initiative, because it addresses, in the social aspect, mainly in its pillars the reduction of inequalities aiming to attend to all the population of the municipality, regardless of race, color, gender, or disabilities. In the economic aspect, the initiative results in the incentive to the creative economy because the students after the course have the future opportunity to reach new jobs, besides acquiring a more critical and entrepreneurial thought, still within this economic aspect, it is important to point out that this initiative is sponsored by the public service of the municipality, resulting in And finally, in the environmental aspect, the use of parks and public spaces for classes, is based on an environmental awareness of preservation of the environment, focusing on the quality of life of students.

Due to the results of the evaluation carried out in 2017, the need to transform the School of Arts Project into a Program was verified, due to the proportion that the Project has taken over time, receiving more vulnerable students from all parts of the Project. in addition to receiving feedback, from the need to elaborate a "Block" of inclusion within the Project, thus bringing the elderly population and people with disabilities into the program.
It was then, from the result of this research that the restructuring was made, becoming the Arts School Program, which currently works on four main pillars: Lessons for People with Disabilities (Cultural Accessibility); Elderly care and encouraging exchange of knowledge (Intergenerational); Increase in Income (Creative economy); Tourist Flow (Good habits).

After identifying the needs of the population, such as the elderly and people with multiple forms of disability, the municipality made a proposal for a partnership with the Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Disabilities (APAE), an institution that is recognized throughout Brazil. the teachers of the School of Arts Program can give free classes to the children and adolescents who study at this institution as a way to bring art and culture to these young people as well. This students have the opportunity to show their potential and new learning in shows performed by the municipality's culture department in the Municipal Theater and are always invited to participate with the other students of the School of Arts Program in the actions of the municipality, always bringing a bias cultural actions of the city.
Another partner of ours is the Day Center for the Elderly (Center for the Elderly in Portuguese), which is endorsed for the Social Assistance Secretariat, which also receives classes for the elderly from the School of Arts Program teachers, with the aim of improving the quality of life, of the age group of those attending the Centro Dia do Idoso. The whole lesson plan was set up in partnership with Gerontologists doctors of the Municipality and with the participation of the elderly, putting their learning desires.
The Center for Psychosocial Support of the municipality, is also a partner of the School of Arts Program, where we assist patients who rely on psychological support through Occupational Therapy care.

The main lessons learned from the School of Arts Program are related to how the Program is evaluated, involving all stakeholders, and the form of evaluation was one of the Program's most critical processes.
In addition, the way teachers were hired was a process that was slow to be adjusted over the years. In our view, an improvement that we are seeking, concerns the viabilization of partnerships with private institutions, because the Program could be expanded to reach more people still.
